Many diseases can be detected inside the eye. For example, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), high blood pressure or diabetes mellitus can be detected at the back of the eye and their progress evaluated. If necessary, the eyes may even need to be treated.

As a specialist in ophthalmology and optometry, I offer my patients a wide range of services in order to thoroughly clarify and treat visual defects, visual disorders and diseases of the eyes. I am specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, eyelid disorders and retinal diseases (diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, epiretinal membranes). In addition the examination and treatment of children’s eyes are very important to me.

Many visual disorders, complaints and diseases in the area of the eyes can be easily and quickly controlled. In other cases, the problem is complex or the symptoms are signs of a serious eye or other underlying disease (e.g. high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus). In any case, a precisely worked out diagnosis and personal consultation are necessary, after all, it is about your vision and eye health.
